Click the menu-bar icon, pick GIF or video, select your browser or simulator window, and go. Window capture uses ScreenCaptureKit, so notifications or other windows passing in front are never recorded.

Privacy regions that follow scrolling content

Recording against staging or production? Draw a pixelate or blur box over an API token, email, or customer name and turn on Follow Content. Apple’s Vision framework tracks the element as the page scrolls and zooms.

Automatic idle speed-up

Why does GitHub prefer MP4 or capped GIFs?

GitHub READMEs and PR comments support dragging and dropping `.mp4` and `.gif` files directly, with strict file-size limits. Ocelo exports hardware-accelerated H.264/HEVC MP4s and 720p 20fps GIFs so your clip uploads cleanly every time.

What happens if the privacy tracker loses confidence while scrolling?

Vision tracking is precomputed forward once so preview and export match frame-for-frame. If the target scrolls off-screen or Vision confidence drops, tracking stops immediately rather than wandering onto the wrong part of the UI.
